Urban youth culture is so retarded right now that I kind of feel guitly even mixing these tracks half the time. A guilty pleasure though. Grime and its derivitive forms have always been a passion for me, but secretly. I still hold out hope that one day we might be treated to lyrics about something real. The death of political and meaningful undercurrents in urban youth music is a sad state of affairs but you have to admit the tracks are savage.
